Sunday, November 18, 2007 Y 11/18/2007 12:23:00 AM if we lived life backwards, we'd be born old- wrinkles, dementia, illnesses, high-teas, mahjong, and a lifetime of experiences. then as we age, we'd have our family, house, career and a car. market shares, household responsibilities, bills. then as we grow older, we move on from the bustling working society to the simple forms of studying ( okay, maybe not so simple) we go to college, secondary, primary. magazines, sports, love, paper aeroplanes, recess, dog-chewed-up-my-homework- excuses. When we're really old, say 70 years, we'd be having the greatest time of our lives- cheap thrills of 50cents ( now one dollar) machine rides, ah pek ice cream, swimming with our floats, colourful khong guan biscuits, ice popsicles, playing pepsicola 123, scissors paper stone, five stones, ballet, piano, abacus lessons, childrens' set meals served with amazingly cute cutlery kindergarten-- crayons, drawing, playtime, sing-a-longs! play-doh, polly pocket! Nursery to bed time stories. to learning how to walk. And then we perish- in the most innocent form- we die, being born. (: It has it's pros and cons. But i do find the thought rather interesting. (:\ Cheers! |
